A keen photographer for over 20 years, I specialise in weddings and civil ceremonies. Born out of a deep dissatisfaction with my own wedding photographs and a desire to produce what my clients really want, I decided to launch into the wedding photography business in 2002. I am familiar with many wedding and reception venues in the region. Portsmouth and Chichester contain many of the venues I frequently attend. These Cities and the wonderful surrounding rural and coastal locations offer some great opportunities for wedding photography. 

Apart from visual inspiration and providing a high quality service, one of my other aims is that my prices remain realistic. I have designed five levels of wedding & civil partnership photography packages to permit me to design and stick to a generally agreed format on the day, so that each couple is aware of the intended routine and to make my work less intrusive than it could otherwise be. I cater for a wide range of tastes in photography and album design and full details and information about my availability can be provided upon request.  

I am a qualified member (LBIPP) of the British Institute of Professional Photography www.bipp.com and MPA www.thempa.com and typically photograph around 50 weddings each year.

I like to build a good rapport with bride and groom and focus on their wishes. So I usually meet each couple at their chosen venue around a month before each wedding. I prefer to work on a less formal basis than many wedding photographers and be as flexible as I can, with an unobtrusive style. I like to capture the spirit of the day, working quickly and shooting some candid 'fly on the wall' images, in addition to the more traditional group photos, when they are requested. I also like to 'pose' some photos, but aim to do so in a creative and natural way.
